What should I wear to a club featuring country/bluegr dancing and music?

I'm 48. It's probably too cold for sleeveless, and I wouldn't wear it anyway right now . I'm in good shape, a size 6-8, and have never been to a country music club but having a date this weekend with a guy. Also, I can't dance. I'm thinking of blue jeans with black heels (that aren't real dressy) and a black V-neck sweater. I have a knee-length plaid pleated skirt I could wear with a sweater and maybe get some ankle boots to go with it. Suggestions, please! :)
