How do you feel about an Epilogue?

If it's needed to conclude the story properly (or even potentially set up a sequel), then they can be quite good. The "years later" epilogues are a little stupid (hint, hint, Harry Potter) but they can be used dramatically. My story will have an epilogue; it's more necessary in mine (for reasons I can't disclose without giving away a ton of the plot!).
