Atheism, is it the best choice?

I am a christian raised high-schooler who, due to the teachings of science in my school, has become atheist... I truly think that there is no god... Yet when I first decided not to believe i had doubts out of fear of god... I believe i know the what i want but i am still skeptical.. a little help please...
