Any one had a pelvic transl (sonogram) test done lately?

I have to have one on Monday because i'm not getting my periods and i'm getting negative pregnancy test results. My question is, does this hurt? Also the instructions say to drink 32 oz of water 1 1/2 hours before the test. NO way can i hold in that much water in with out peeing????
